1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ContractZA ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. Use of the Platform

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and job postings
  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes related to IT contracting and employment
  • Not post misleading, fraudulent, or discriminatory job listings
  • Not scrape, copy, or republish content from the Platform without permission
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for fraudulent purposes.

4. Job Postings

Employers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their job postings. All postings must comply with South African labour laws, including the Employment Equity Act and B-BBEE regulations where applicable. We reserve the right to remove postings that violate these terms or our community standards.

5. Contractor Profiles

Contractors are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information, including skills, experience, and availability. Misrepresentation may result in account suspension.

6. Fees and Payments

ContractZA offers free and paid tiers. Fees for paid services will be clearly communicated before purchase.ContractZA is not a party to any contract between employers and contractors and does not handle payments between them.

7. Intellectual Property

All content and materials on the Platform (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by ContractZA. Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant us a licence to display it on the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

ContractZA provides a platform for connecting employers and contractors. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, the quality of contractors, or the suitability of job postings. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContractZA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
