Introduction We are seeking a Workshop Manager to lead operational performance, promote a strong safety culture, and manage team output in line with company standards and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities
Establish a Safety First culture, model core company values, realize operational synergies, and foster diversity and inclusion. Consistently exceed customer expectations, focus on business priorities, achieve ambitious targets, and make sound decisions under pressure. Encourage innovation, support continuous improvement, and think strategically with a customer-first focus. Communicate transparently, offer constructive feedback, empower employees, build team capabilities, and drive motivation. Act with strong business ethics, take accountability for professional growth, and build high-trust relationships. Oversee project management, manage operational budgets/finances, resolve operational challenges, and implement strategy effectively.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 / N3 Technical Qualification (or equivalent). Relevant Trade Certificate and Trade Theory. Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering. Diploma in Business Management (Advantageous). Completed Supervisory Safety Development Program (SSDP). Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in workshop maintenance, rebuilds, or components. Minimum 7 years of management or supervisory experience. Trackless mining experience is advantageous
