This role will play a key part in ensuring an efficient employee experience by coordinating IT enablement, managing technology assets and licenses, administering background and reference checks, and maintaining accurate operational records across multiple regions including South Africa and the United Kingdom.<br><br></p><p>The successful candidate will work closely with associates, clients, Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Finance, and IT partners to deliver responsive support, maintain compliance with internal processes, and ensure operational excellence across onboarding and technology-related functions.<br><br></p><p><strong>What you will do:<br><br></strong></p><p><strong>Tech Enablement<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Manage onboarding requests received from Talent Acquisition and initiate all required workflows through the internal IT partner portal.</li><li>Coordinate end-to-end setup of employee technology access, including email creation, software provisioning, system access, and EID or laptop allocation.</li><li>Review and approve quotations for Microsoft 365 licenses and approved technical tools in alignment with business requirements and budgets.</li><li>Procure or coordinate rental of laptops and accessories, including imaging, configuration, quality checks, and delivery logistics.</li><li>Maintain and update employee records within BambooHR, including IT asset assignments, email addresses, and EID information.</li><li>Distribute IT policies, onboarding documentation, and client-specific forms through Signing Hub and track completion acknowledgements.</li><li>Maintain accurate contact directories, distribution lists, and mailing groups for associates and new hires.</li></ul><p><strong>Tech Disablement<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Initiate and manage offboarding processes, ensuring access removal and asset recovery in line with company policies.</li><li>Coordinate return of IT equipment through FedEx or client-specific logistics processes.</li><li>Update EID records, license allocations, and asset management trackers to reflect onboarding and offboarding changes accurately.</li><li>Verify and document returned equipment while maintaining accurate reconciliation records for company assets.</li></ul><p><strong>Tech Maintenance<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Conduct annual IT asset audits and maintain accurate technology inventory and allocation records.</li><li>Monitor and manage service tickets raised with internal IT partners and escalate unresolved issues where necessary.</li><li>Coordinate onsite and remote technical support interventions to minimise operational disruption.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal asset management procedures and collaborate with Finance on invoice validation, insurance tracking, and audit requirements.</li></ul><p><strong>Background Checks<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Manage the full lifecycle of background screening processes in accordance with client and regional requirements.</li><li>Coordinate candidate communication for document collection, fingerprinting, and verification appointments where required.</li><li>Monitor progress of background checks and provide timely updates to stakeholders while escalating delays or issues appropriately.</li><li>Conduct live identity and address verifications in accordance with client or regulatory requirements.</li><li>Compile, review, and submit audit-ready background screening reports and supporting documentation.</li><li>Archive completed background checks securely and communicate outcomes to internal stakeholders.</li></ul><p><strong>Reference Checks<br><br></strong></p><ul><li>Receive and process candidate reference details in accordance with hiring procedures.</li><li>Contact referees via telephone or email to obtain structured feedback regarding candidate suitability and performance.</li><li>Compile, validate, and securely store reference check outcomes in compliance with data protection standards.</li><li>Share completed reference reports with relevant stakeholders to support onboarding and hiring decisions.</li></ul><p> <br><br><br><br></p><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience supporting onboarding, offboarding, technology administration, or people operations functions.</li><li>Knowledge of IT asset management, technology provisioning, and onboarding workflows.</li><li>Experience coordinating background screening and reference checking processes across multiple regions.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft 365 licensing, system provisioning, and employee technology support processes.</li><li>Experience maintaining HR and technology records within systems such as BambooHR or similar platforms.</li><li>Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Ability to prioritise workloads, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing business requirements.</li><li>Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.</li><li>High attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and process compliance.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams and stakeholders.</li><li>Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and compliance standards.</li><li>Strong customer service mindset with the ability to deliver a positive employee and associate experience.</li><li>Experience working within remote or globally distributed environments is advantageous.</li><li>Familiarity with Signing Hub, FedEx logistics coordination, and IT ticketing systems is beneficial.</li><li>Demonstrated
