Talent Acquisition Specialist (3 - 6 month contract)

Introduction Our client is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. The successful incumbent will provide end-to-end recruitment support during a significant organisational restructuring initiative, partnering closely with hiring managers to recruit into newly created and replacement positions arising from an ongoing Section 189 (Labour Relations Act) process.

This role is best suited to a recruiter who has worked within project-based environments and is comfortable managing multiple vacancies within a fast-paced, changing business.

Duties & Responsibilities

Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment requirements and draft job specifications. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process across multiple vacancies. Advertise positions and manage candidate attraction strategies. Screen and shortlist candidates against role requirements. Coordinate and attend interviews with hiring managers and interview panels. Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Work closely with senior recruiters to ensure recruitment milestones and project timelines are achieved. Support recruitment activities associated with organisational restructuring and Section 189 processes. Ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining high levels of stakeholder engagement.

Desired Experience & Qualification

5+ years' internal or agency recruitment experience with strong end-to-end recruitment capability. Previous experience recruiting within project-based or high-volume recruitment environments. Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment during organisational restructuring or Section 189 (S189) processes would be highly advantageous. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers. Excellent interviewing, screening and candidate assessment capability. Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while working to tight deadlines. Available to commence at short notice.
