Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise installation teams on fire detection systems (underground & surface) Ensure compliance with drawings, wiring diagrams and safety standards Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings Install, wire and commission panels, devices and detection systems Conduct testing, fault finding and system calibration Manage daily planning, tools, stock and site documentation Lead, mentor and monitor team performance on-site
Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements
N3 / Matric Certificate Electrical Trade Certificate (Electrical / Instrumentation) Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience Experience with fire detection systems (conventional & addressable) Mining experience (underground exposure essential) Proven team leadership experience Knowledge of NFPA and SANS standards Valid Code EB driver’s licence
