An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Site Manager / Contracts Manager to join our client's growing construction team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering civil infrastructure projects, with particular emphasis on township infrastructure works and reinforced concrete construction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily construction activities across multiple project phases. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Manage labor, subcontractors, plants, and material resources. Monitor programme timelines and implement corrective actions where required. Conduct site inspections and maintain quality assurance standards. Liaise with engineers, consultants, and clients throughout project execution. Maintain accurate project records and reporting.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification Demonstrated experience managing civil engineering construction projects. At least 10 years’ experience with township infrastructure development. Strong understanding of concrete structures and associated construction practices. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to motivate and manage site teams effectively. Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
