Senior Product Design Lead (Contract)

About the Role As the Senior Product Design Lead, you'll shape the design strategy for digital products, ensuring exceptional user experiences while aligning design decisions with business objectives.

You'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Business Stakeholders to deliver intuitive, customer-focused solutions and mentor a team of talented designers.

Key Responsibilities • Lead end-to-end product design across multiple initiatives. • Drive product design strategy and user-centred design practices. • Facilitate design thinking workshops and stakeholder engagement. • Mentor and support product designers. • Contribute to and maintain design systems. • Present design concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders. • Use customer research and data to inform design decisions.

• Has proven experience as a Senior Product Designer or Product Design Lead. • Thrives in complex enterprise environments. • Is passionate about creating outstanding customer experiences. • Can confidently influence and engage senior stakeholders. • Enjoys mentoring others and building high-performing design teams. • Has experience within banking, financial services, or other large corporate organisations (advantageous).
