To guide students on how to improve their writing and engage responsibly with AI.Responsibilities:Teaching:Offer consultations, seminars, and workshops on how to improve writing when producing essays, assignments, and projects.Offer expert guidance on responsible AI use.Supervise postgraduate students.Research:Conduct own research and publish articles in accredited journals.Administration/Management:Share in academic and administrative tasks commensurate with the position. Desired Experience & Qualification A PhD (NQF 10) qualification in English.Five (5) years of university lecturing experience.Publication track record.Supervision track record.Familiarity with issues related to writing and AI use. Recommendations:Experience in working with Extended Curriculum Programmes (ECP) or student academic development initiatives.Evidence of integrating responsible AI practices into teaching and learning.Experience in facilitating writing centres, academic literacy programmes, or similar student support initiatives.
