Senior Contracts Manager

Introduction Amandla Building & Construction is seeking a highly experienced and suitably qualified Senior Contracts Manager to oversee the successful delivery of civil engineering and building projects.

Based in Klerksdorp North West Province

Duties & Responsibilities  

Manage projects from appointment through to final completion and close-out Monitor project programmes, budgets, cash flow and contractual obligations Administer contracts and manage variations, claims, extensions of time and contractual notices Coordinate project teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards and health and safety requirements Identify and manage contractual, financial and operational risks Prepare progress reports and attend client and project meetings Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards

Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements for the position;

National Diploma in Civil Engineering BTech degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Professional registration with SACPCMP Minimum of 15 years’ relevant construction experience Extensive experience in civil engineering and building projects Strong knowledge of GCC, NEC and JBCC forms of contract Proven experience in contract administration, project management and commercial management Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects, project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders Sound knowledge of construction legislation, health and safety requirements, quality control and contractual compliance
