Are you an AWS DevOps professional looking for your next exciting contract? We are partnering with a leading financial services client seeking an AWS DevOps Consultant to join a high-performing, remote-first delivery team.
Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications. Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Deploy, monitor, and optimise workloads on AWS. Implement and manage containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS). Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and cost optimisation of AWS environments. Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and monitoring into deployment pipelines. Collaborate with developers, QA, security, and architecture teams in an Agile environment. Support incident management, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Desired Experience & Qualification Required Skills & Experience
Solid hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.). Strong experience in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Proficiency in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred). Good scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, or PowerShell). Experience with monitoring & logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and DevOps principles.
Qualifications
Kubernetes Admin Certificate is mandatory Kubernetes Development certification is mandatory AWS certification is mandatory Experience in the financial services / banking sector – advantageous. Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery environments.
