Introduction Our client is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Technical Consultant to join their SAP Engineering team, supporting enterprise-wide Aftersales Parts Logistics Warehouse Processes. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical administration, maintenance, optimisation, and continuous improvement of complex SAP landscapes, ensuring high availability, performance, and stability across critical business systems.
Working alongside SAP functional consultants, infrastructure specialists, developers, and international stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting enterprise SAP platforms while driving technical projects, system upgrades, cloud initiatives, and operational excellence within a global DevOps environment.

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
SAP Landscape Management: Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimise enterprise SAP landscapes to ensure maximum system availability, resilience, and performance. Technical Operations: Perform proactive monitoring, health checks, system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across SAP environments and associated databases. Project Delivery: Support and coordinate SAP technical projects, upgrades, migrations, patch management, infrastructure enhancements, and release activities while ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards. Incident & Change Management: Provide second-level support by analysing system logs, diagnosing technical issues, managing incidents, and implementing approved changes in accordance with ITIL and organisational best practices. System Administration: Manage SAP transports, database changes, kernel upgrades, system maintenance, and technical administration activities while maintaining compliance with change management procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional consultants, infrastructure teams, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and optimal SAP system performance. Documentation & Governance: Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, operational procedures, and technical standards to support governance, compliance, and knowledge sharing. Continuous Improvement: Analyse system performance trends, recommend infrastructure enhancements, implement SAP best practices, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the SAP landscape.
