Introduction We are looking for a dual-skilled SAP Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Procurement (MM) and Distribution (SD/LE) to lead a WMS pilot program. You will act as the functional architect, ensuring that standard procurement and transport flows are correctly mapped to the new warehouse storage and picking strategies.
POSITION: Contract role from ASAP to 15 December 2026
WORK MODEL: Hybrid with 3 days/week in the office.
Core Responsibilities:
Procurement (MM): Configure and optimise Inbound Delivery processing (VL31N) and Goods Receipt flows into specific Storage Types. Transport & Distribution (SD/LE): Streamline Shipment Documents (VT01N), Picking Waves, and Post Goods Issue (PGI) workflows. WMS Integration: Define Movement Type mapping (IM-WM), Put-away/Stock removal strategies, and Bin Management. Business Process Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the WMS pilot meets local South African distribution requirements and SADC transport compliance.
Desired Experience & Qualification Education: Relevant Degree or SAP Certification
Key Requirements:
Module Expertise: Strong configuration skills in SAP MM (Procurement, Batch Management) and SD (Shipping, Transportation). Analytical Skills: Ability to map complex "physical" warehouse movements to "logical" SAP steps. Project Experience: Experience in WMS implementations is mandatory; knowledge of the integration between LE-TRA and WM is highly preferred.
