Introduction We are seeking a highly technical SAP ABAP Developer to support a Greenfield WMS implementation. This role is critical for bridging the gap between our core ERP (MM/SD) and the new Warehouse Management environment. You will be responsible for the development, testing, and deployment of custom enhancements, specifically focusing on mobile data entry and real-time interface communication.
POSITION: Contract role from ASAP to 15 December 2026
WORK MODEL: Hybrid with 3 days/week in the office.
Desired Experience & Qualification Key Technical Requirements:
RF Framework & Mobile: Proven experience with ITS Mobile or SAP Console for handheld scanner integration. Interface Management: Deep expertise in ALE/IDocs, BAPIs, and RFCs for seamless data flow. Enhancements: Proficiency in User Exits, BAdIs, and Enhancement Spots specifically within LE-SHP and MM-PUR. Output Management: Experience with SmartForms/Adobe Forms for warehouse-specific labelling (Barcoding, SSCC, Packing Slits). Technical Stack: Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) and experience with the Delivery Monitor (VL06) framework.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of SAP ABAP development. Previous experience in at least one full-cycle WMS or EWM implementation. Knowledge of South African localisation and distribution standards
