Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
SAP Development: Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, function modules, and custom developments that support enterprise logistics and supply chain operations. Application Enhancement: Extend standard SAP functionality using User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Frameworks, and ABAP Objects while ensuring high-quality, maintainable solutions. UI Development: Develop modern SAP UI5 and Fiori applications, including backend services and user interfaces that deliver intuitive user experiences. Enterprise Integration: Design, develop, and support integrations using OData, REST APIs, ALE/iDOC, RFC, Kafka, and other integration technologies to enable seamless communication across SAP and non-SAP platforms. Analysis & Testing: Translate business requirements into technical solutions, prepare technical specifications, support testing activities, and participate in solution deployment and production support. Operational Support: Investigate and resolve technical incidents, troubleshoot production issues, provide ongoing application support, and ensure service delivery within agreed service levels. Collaboration: Work closely with SAP Functional Consultants, architects, developers, and international business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable enterprise solutions within an Agile DevOps environment. Continuous Improvement: Leverage approved AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and overall software delivery while promoting technical best practices across the development team.
Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications & Experience
Relevant Information Technology degree, SAP qualification, or equivalent professional certification. Minimum of 8 years' SAP ABAP development experience within SAP S/4HANA environments. Strong SAP UI5 and Fiori development experience. Proven experience developing enterprise integrations using APIs, OData, ALE/iDOC, RFC, and Kafka. Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments. Exposure to AI-assisted software development tools is advantageous.
