Introduction We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Construction Health & Safety Officer to join our dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations on site Conduct daily safety inspections and audits Monitor safe work practices and PPE compliance Facilitate toolbox talks and safety inductions Investigate incidents and compile reports Maintain Health & Safety files and documentation Liaise with clients, supervisors, and contractors regarding HSE matters Promote a strong safety culture on site Preferred Industry Experience: Construction Civil Engineering Shutdowns & Projects Mining / Heavy Industrial environments
Desired Experience & Qualification
Registered as a Construction Health & Safety Officer Relevant Health & Safety qualification SACPCMP registration Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within construction, civil, industrial, or petrochemical environments Strong knowledge of OHS Act and construction regulations Experience with: Risk Assessments Incident Investigations Toolbox Talks Safety Audits & Inspections Permit Control Contractor Management Computer literate (MS Office) Valid driver’s licence Excellent communication and reporting skills
