Psychologist (12 Month Contract)

Introduction We are seeking a qualified and experienced Psychologist to provide workplace psychological support and employee wellness services for a professional organisation based in Pretoria.

 

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

• Provide one on one counselling and psychological support to employees. • Conduct mental health assessments and referrals where required. • Facilitate trauma debriefing sessions following critical incidents. • Deliver mental wellness awareness programmes and group interventions. • Provide anonymous wellness trend reports and recommendations to management. • Support Human Capital with employee wellness initiatives and emerging workplace challenges.

 

Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Psychology (Clinical or Industrial Psychology). • Registered with the HPCSA as a Psychologist. • Minimum 3 years’ experience providing workplace mental health assessments and support. • Strong counselling, case management and communication skills. • Excellent report writing and analytical abilities. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethics. • Experience in trauma counselling, organisational wellness and Employee Assistance Programmes will be advantageous. • Professional Indemnity Insurance.
