The individual will be required to work at Head office for some time and then be site based.
Duties & Responsibilities
Process all data (material received, fuel, hours worked for labour & plant) to generate cost. Adhere to company filling policy and procedure. Making out requisitions for site/contract. Monitor store issues and Stock received. Receive daily production sheet (Foreman’s report), delivery notes and invoices. Processing provisional cost and all relevant cost incurred. Process and controlling petty cash. Ensures plant audit register is accurate and up to date. Ensure that external plant time sheets are accurate and signed by relevant signatories. Ensure that all site assets are correctly registered. Supervising fuel issue daily and make out fuel consumption report for each plant. Prepare payments for sub-contractors and supplies. Making claims from sub and main contractors. Reconciling site cost against the ledger from the system. Attend and resolve site queries related to suppliers and HQ Allocating cost to correct cost code for misallocation. Check monthly variances for material, fuel & labour cost. Submit monthly cost report Reconcile JV ledgers “if applicable” Assist with yearend company audit packs
Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications
Qualification in Accounting, Business Management and/or Procurement
Relevant Experience
At least 2 years relevant experience
