Introduction Our client is seeking a Project Engineer on a 12-month contract to support engineering projects within a mining environment.
The successful candidate will have a strong operational background with a sound understanding of plant operability and maintainability, and the ability to deliver practical engineering solutions that improve safety and operational performance.
Key Requirements:
Mechanical or Process Engineering background. Operational experience with a sound understanding of plant and machinery, including operability and maintainability. Experience in engineering out hazards and supporting safe plant operations. Project experience, including exposure to cost, quality, schedules, project phases, and engineering work processes. Good technical document writing and reporting skills. Ability to adapt to new environments and build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
