Introduction Lieben Labour is seeking reliable and hardworking Production Operators to support its plastics manufacturing operations. The successful candidates will assist with production activities, conduct routine product quality checks, pack finished products correctly and maintain a clean, safe and organised production environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist with daily production activities and follow instructions from supervisors and technicians. Conduct routine quality checks on products coming off production machinery. Identify and report products that do not meet the required quality specifications. Ensure finished products are packed according to the required procedures. Close, strap and prepare boxes for storage or dispatch in the correct manner. Ensure Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and relevant box and batch numbers are completed correctly where required. Complete daily checklists and cleaning sheets. Report production problems, machinery issues and product defects to management or the relevant supervisor. Assist technicians and maintenance personnel with production-floor activities when required. Maintain good housekeeping in the factory, warehouse, compressor room, chiller areas and surrounding premises. Follow company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and health and safety requirements. Wear the correct PPE and comply with hygiene standards. Participate in required training and perform additional duties as assigned by management. Good work ethic and reliability. Attention to detail. Teamwork and cooperation. Ability to follow instructions. Quality-conscious approach. Commitment to workplace safety and housekeeping.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 / Matric will be advantageous. Previous production or factory experience will be beneficial. Ability to follow instructions and established procedures. Good attention to detail when inspecting and packing products. Ability to work effectively in a team. Reliable, punctual and hardworking. Good awareness of workplace cleanliness and safety. Willingness to work shifts, including day and night shifts, where required.
Package & Remuneration R 8 000 per month
