Introduction A leading medical device manufacturer in Ireland is seeking skilled Process Technicians from South Africa to join their high‑volume, automated manufacturing environment. This is a contract role working with Class III medical devices. You will take ownership of production output, equipment maintenance (controls, sensors, pneumatics, electrics), and process improvement. The client covers all associated costs – including work permit, visa, and travel – for the successful candidate
Duties & Responsibilities
Use state‑of‑the‑art IT and software resources to analyse data and feedback from the production line Identify cycle time and yield detractors; make necessary adjustments and modifications to improve output Work with team and engineering to root‑cause and problem‑solve issues Support planned and unplanned downtime to ensure speedy return to production Replace and set up spare parts including robots, servo drives, vision systems, and pneumatics Demonstrate mastery and act as expert/leader for electrical, key machine safety, and/or software proficiencies across the entire manufacturing line Contribute to targets related to Safety, Quality, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement Participate in project work relating to process improvement (cycle‑time and yield development)

Desired Experience & Qualification
QQI Level 6 qualification (completed apprenticeship – major award equalling 120 credits on QQI framework) in a Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Moulding, Automation or related discipline Examples: Electricians, Motor Mechanics, Fitters, Plumbers, Engineers, Refrigeration and Aeronautical Technicians Minimum 1 year of hands‑on mechanical/technical environment experience Interest, energy, and motivation to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment Experience working within a team Excellent communication skills Valid passport Ability to pass work permit & travel visa checks
