Pipe Fitter

Introduction We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of piping systems in accordance with technical drawings, project specifications, and workplace safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings, and technical specifications. Measure, cut, bevel, fit, align, and assemble piping systems. Install pipes, valves, flanges, fittings, supports, and associated equipment. Carry out pipe fabrication and installation to required quality standards. Collaborate with welders and other trades to ensure efficient project execution. Perform pressure and leak testing of piping systems where required. Inspect completed installations, identify defects, and carry out corrective work. Maintain a safe working environment by complying with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Proven experience in pipe fitting and pipe fabrication within construction, industrial, or engineering environments. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and piping isometrics. Sound knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, hand tools, and power tools. Relevant trade qualification or Pipe Fitting certification will be an advantage. Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures. Physically fit and able to work in demanding construction or industrial environments.
