About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly organised and motivated Marketing & Events Specialist to coordinate and deliver high-quality marketing initiatives and events. This role is responsible for planning, organising, and executing events from concept through to completion while supporting broader marketing activities that enhance brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, external partners, sponsors, media partners, and service providers to ensure the successful delivery of marketing campaigns and events.

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute events from initial concept through to post-event evaluation. Manage all event logistics, including venues, suppliers, registrations, catering, branding, and onsite delivery. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved. Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, partners, media representatives, and external service providers. Support brand visibility through coordinated marketing initiatives and promotional activities. Develop, manage, and implement a monthly marketing content calendar aligned with business objectives and campaigns. Coordinate marketing communications across multiple channels. Monitor event attendance, engagement, campaign performance, and marketing activities. Prepare reports and analyse marketing and event performance to provide insights and recommendations. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of projects and business initiatives. Support additional marketing and business activities as required. Act as a professional ambassador for the organisation when engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated experience in marketing, events management, and project coordination. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong project planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage timelines and deliverables. Experience coordinating large-scale events from planning through execution. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience using virtual meeting and event platforms such as Zoom or similar. Ability to analyse event and campaign performance and prepare meaningful reports. Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive with strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
