Opportunity Available!!! Our Clearing & Forwarding Client is currently seeking a dynamic and hands-on Junior Logistics Coordinator (Imports/ Exports) to join their team based in Durban for a on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This opportunity would suit a candidate with strong exposure within the clearing and forwarding industry who is comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment across imports and exports.
Minimum Requirements
Matric essential Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous Minimum clearing and forwarding industry experience essential CargoWise experience/knowledge is mandatory Valid exposure to both imports and exports required Employment Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract Work Setup: Hybrid (3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote) Salary: Basic + Benefits: Company laptop, mobile phone & data contract provided Monday to Friday: 08h00 – 16h30
Experience across:
Sea Freight Airfreight Road Freight Containers Bulk Cargo
Airfreight and vessel clearance experience essential Customs clearing and customs stop query experience required Strong understanding of shipping line, airline, and port operational procedures Experience coordinating cargo and framing port documentation Ability to liaise with: Customers Transporters Shipping lines Airlines Port authorities
Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Hands-on operational approach and attitude essential
