Junior External Sales / Business Development Representative

Introduction We are looking for a driven and energetic Junior External Sales / Business Development Representative to join our team in New Germany, Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal

This is a field-based, new-business-focused position suited to someone who enjoys meeting people, generating new leads and actively approaching potential clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for door-to-door sales, cold calling, lead generation and developing new business opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

Generate new business leads through proactive prospecting and cold calling. Conduct door-to-door sales and business development within the allocated area. Identify and approach potential new clients. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients. Arrange meetings and present products/services to potential customers. Follow up on leads and convert opportunities into sales. Maintain an accurate pipeline of prospects and sales activities. Achieve monthly sales and business development targets. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities. Provide regular feedback on lead generation, sales activities and market trends. Represent the company professionally when dealing with prospective clients

Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements

Previous sales, telesales, business development or lead-generation experience will be advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Confident approaching and speaking to new people. Comfortable with cold calling and door-to-door sales. Target-driven, energetic and self-motivated. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. Good organisational and follow-up abilities. Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle essential. Must be comfortable travelling within Cape Town. Basic computer literacy.

Package & Remuneration Package & Remuneration

R25,000 Basic Salary per month + Commission Structure Petrol is included in the basic salary.
