Duties & Responsibilities My client (International Trader and FMCG) based in Woodmead, Johannesburg, is seeking a Junior Contracts and Logistics Administrator
Job Purpose:To provide administrative support for purchase and sales contracts by ensuring accurate SAP processing, customs documentation, stock receipting and maintenance of up-to-date contract schedulesDuties and Responsibilities:Purchasing Contracts Administration Complete purchase booking notes for every notesInput purchase contracts into SAP SAP Inventory Transactions Cross-check material invoices against contract price and bill of lading quantityInput material invoices into SAP after invoices have been quality checkedCheck Full Out and Guarantees (FOG) Invoices/Credits from the supplier, against the outturn reportsMatch Material and FOG invoices to the stock receipted through coding on SAP and process the workflow to the Accounts PayableEnsure all spreadsheets are updated with newly processed information Customs Clearing Liaise with Trading Documents Desk to ensure receipt of all shipping documentsCompile documents for customs clearance of the shipment according to relevant customs regulationsSubmit shipping documents to the clearing agent to facilitate clearing for each shipment General Administration Provide admin support when required by the team.Creation of JIRA tickets for new products codes and SAP enhancementsLiaising with relevant stakeholders on the JIRA TICKET status Sales Contract Administration Refer to trade confirmations and conduct SAP entries for each saleCreate contract schedules in order for the operations/logistics department to start their planningCompile long form contracts and send to customers for acknowledgement and sign offUpdate contract summary reports for selected customers periodically and/or on requestCreate and file contract files for all Ex-Tank TradeUpdate and send out daily sales reports to the tradersProvide sales related information to relevant stakeholders on request Minimum Requirements:Education and Experience: Diploma in International Trade, Logistics, or Supply ChainCompetencyCertificate in Incoterms (advantageous)Minimum 2 years' experience in trade administration (purchasing and sales)Working experience on SAP Skills Customer serviceProficiency in SAP and Microsoft OfficeNumerical and analytical skillsPlanning and organisingAble to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInterpersonal skillsProblem solving skillsAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamMeticulous filing and record keeping Salary Range:R156 000 - R260 000Total CTC per annumPOPI Act: In line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA), all personal information submitted in your application will be treated as confidential and used solely for recruitment purposesBy applying for this position, you consent to the processing and storing of your personal information for the purposes of assessing your suitability for employmentShould your application be unsuccessful, your personal information will be securely stored for a limited period and then destroyed in accordance with our data retention policy Preference will be given to South African Citizens from designated groups
