Introduction Our client in the Tech industry based in Gauteng are currently seeking the skills of an IT Project Manager for a short-term contract of about 2 months. This role exists to plan, coordinate, and drive the implementation of a defined set of business systems that must interface with Group Head Office platforms and their respective system owners. This is a project management and integration-coordination role — not a development, technical build, or IT support role. The successful candidate will own the project plan, manage stakeholders on both sides, and be accountable for on-time delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities Main Job Function
The role covers implementation and head-office integration of the following systems:
Syspro — POS and Back Office Customer and internal Repair tool Trade-in tool (FileMaker) Paper Trail system Cellphone network contract tools Sage HR system Intranet Other IT tools as relevant to the project scope Develop and manage a clear project plan and timeline covering all systems in scope Liaise directly with each Group Head Office system owner (e.g. the Syspro owner, the FileMaker owner, etc.) to align on integration requirements, timelines, and dependencies Represent the companies interests firmly in discussions with Group stakeholders, while maintaining a constructive, professional working relationship Translate business and commercial requirements into practical system and integration requirements Coordinate internal stakeholders (stores, finance, operations) to ensure readiness for each system go-live Track, record, and report progress regularly against the project plan Present progress, risks, and blockers clearly to the CEO and other senior stakeholders Escalate and resolve delays or misalignment with Group system owners Ensure all integrations are implemented with the business's commercial and operational needs in mind

Relevant Degree preferred
Criteria
A minimum of 10 years' experience in project management and IT, ideally including ERP or multi-system integration projects Strong understanding of ERP systems and business system integrations Solid understanding of business commercials, not just technical delivery Proven track record of engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders Strong references Strong lobbying and influencing skills — able to get buy-in and movement from stakeholders who do not report to them Firm and assertive, while remaining professional Comfortable communicating with senior people, internally and at Group Head Office Well organised, with strong tracking, record-keeping, and reporting discipline Able to receive and act on criticism constructively Professional, well presented Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement Own transport Available to start immediately
