Investment Analyst - 3 Months Contract - KZN

Introduction One of our clients, based in Durban, is seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified Investment Analyst.

The successful candidate will support the investment team in financial modelling and analysis, conducting due diligence, preparing investment proposals, and assisting with post-investment portfolio management.

The role also involves presenting investment findings and value-accretive recommendations to investee company management and the client.

Duration: 3 Months Availability: To start immediately

Duties & Responsibilities Key performance areas:

Financial analysis and modelling Preparation of investment memoranda for internal and external use Conducting financial and other business-related research Conducting due diligences on prospective investments Assistance in the execution of transactions  Post investment management and reporting.

Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum requirements:

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Investment Management or related filed Relevant Honours Degree or Postgraduate qualification is advantageous Minimum 3 years’ experience in the role Knowledge in Credit Analysis, Financial Modelling, Corporate Finance, Banking/DFI exposure Transaction advisory or related analytical role

Package & Remuneration Salary:

R71 137.71 per month.
