Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner (ERP Readiness) to support the migration from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics 365 across a multi-entity environment.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong technical accounting, IFRS and ERP implementation experience. You will be responsible for preparing the business for ERP adoption, redesigning and standardising the Chart of Accounts, improving financial reporting and controls, cleansing and migrating financial data, and ensuring the organisation is fully prepared for a successful system go-live.
This is a high-impact contract opportunity where you will work closely with senior stakeholders, drive process improvements, and provide strategic financial guidance during a critical phase of the company's digital transformation journey.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support the migration from Xero to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Redesign and standardise the Chart of Accounts across multiple entities Map and migrate existing financial data into the new ERP environment Review and clean up AP/AR, bank, inventory and fixed asset subledgers Resolve historical mispostings, duplicate records and reconciliation issues Rebuild and align fixed asset registers in line with IAS 16 requirements Prepare accurate opening balances and migration documentation for go-live Ensure financial data is audit-ready and aligned to reporting and tax requirements Develop mapping documents and migration templates for Dynamics 365 Improve financial controls, reporting structures and data governance processes Work closely with finance teams and stakeholders to support change management and user adoption Identify broken processes and recommend scalable finance system improvements
Desired Experience & Qualification
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, CA(SA) preferred 8 – 12 years’ experience in Financial Reporting, Group Reporting and ERP implementation / migrations Advanced hands-on experience with Xero and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Strong knowledge of IFRS, including IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 16 and IAS 2 Experience working in multi-entity/group environments Strong understanding of General Ledger, AP/AR, fixed assets and consolidation structures Proven experience with Chart of Accounts redesign and data migration projects Experience with financial data cleansing, reconciliations and audit preparation Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements ERP implementation certifications advantageous
Package & Remuneration R 60 000 – 80 000 CTC p/m
