You’ll operate across the full employee lifecycle within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities
Partner with leadership to align people strategy with business objectives Deliver end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle Drive talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives Facilitate performance management processes and calibration sessions Lead talent reviews and development planning discussions Manage employee relations matters (misconduct, grievances, poor performance, incapacity, conflict) Provide guidance on South African labour legislation, HR policies, and best practice Support organisational change initiatives (restructures, integrations, role changes) Analyse and report on HR metrics (headcount, turnover, performance, EE) Collaborate with L&D, Reward, and HR Operations teams Support recruitment, workforce planning, and offer processes Identify and mitigate people-related risks
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, Labour Relations, or related field 3–5 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or HRBP role Strong employee relations and case management experience Solid experience in performance and talent management Sound knowledge of South African labour legislation
Advantageous
Honours Degree South African Board for People Practices (SABPP) registration Change management and/or coaching certification Experience within banking or a regulated financial services environment
