Main Purpose of the Role
The role requires a seasoned HC professional with strong exposure to culture, talent management, leadership capability, and organisational effectiveness, in addition to sound operational HR delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities 1. Strategic People & Culture Partnership Act as a trusted advisor to leaders on people, culture, and organisational matters. Support the shaping and embedding of a high‐performance, values‐aligned culture. Partner with leadership on change, engagement, and culture‐shaping initiatives. Provide insight‐driven people recommendations aligned to business strategy.
2. Talent Management & Capability Support the design and execution of talent management frameworks, including succession planning, career pathways, and internal mobility. Partner with leadership on identifying critical skills, talent risks, and development priorities. Support leadership capability and people management effectiveness across the business.
3. Workforce Planning & Analytics Support HC leadership with workforce planning, resourcing strategies, and organisational design. Analyse people data and trends to inform decision‐making and risk mitigation. Contribute to HC projects such as EVP, organisational effectiveness, and future‐fit workforce initiatives.
4. Employee Relations & Governance Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance. Support disciplinary, grievance, and performance management processes. Ensure adherence to labour legislation, internal policies, and governance standards.
5. Operational HC Delivery Oversee and execute operational HC activities across the employee lifecycle. Coordinate payroll approvals, compliance schedules, audits, and B‐BBEE submissions. Ensure accurate systems, records, and documentation in line with POPIA requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field. Postgraduate qualification is advantageous. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Human Capital / HR Business Partner role or similar. Demonstrated exposure to culture, talent management, leadership development, and organisational effectiveness. High emotional intelligence with sound judgement and discretion. Experience in financial services or a regulated environment preferred. Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capability. Ability to influence leadership level. Solid understanding of labour legislation and HC governance. Analytical, commercially minded, and solutions
