Banking</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking an experienced <strong>Full Stack Developer</strong> with strong <strong>.NET and Azure</strong> experience to join a dynamic technology delivery team on a 6–12 month contract.</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting modern full-stack applications across the Microsoft technology ecosystem, working across backend services, APIs, frontend applications and database technologies.</p><p>This is a <strong>fully onsite role in Johannesburg</strong>, requiring strong collaboration with developers, technical teams and business stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop and maintain full-stack applications using the Microsoft technology stack.</li><li>Develop robust backend services and APIs using <strong>C# and .NET / .NET Core</strong>.</li><li>Build and maintain modern web applications using <strong>Angular and TypeScript</strong>.</li><li>Work with <strong>Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core</strong> for data access and application development.</li><li>Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.</li><li>Work with <strong>Azure</strong> services and cloud-based application environments.</li><li>Design, develop and optimise SQL Server databases and queries.</li><li>Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable and scalable code.</li><li>Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with other developers, architects, business analysts and project stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to Agile development practices and delivery.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Technical Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Backend</strong></p><ul><li><strong>.NET 10</strong> – .NET 8 acceptable</li><li>Strong <strong>.NET Core</strong> development experience</li><li><strong>C# 14</strong> – C# 10 acceptable</li><li><strong>Entity Framework 8</strong> – EF 6+ acceptable</li></ul><p><strong>Frontend</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Angular 21</strong></li><li><strong>TypeScript 5</strong></li><li>JavaScript / ES2025</li><li>Experience with modern frontend development</li></ul><p><strong>Node.js / NestJS</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Node.js 22</strong></li><li><strong>NestJS 11</strong></li><li>Candidates with strong Angular experience will generally have exposure to the Node.js ecosystem.</li><li>NestJS experience is advantageous and can be developed on the job.</li></ul><p><strong>Database</strong></p><ul><li>Strong <strong>Microsoft SQL Server</strong> experience</li><li>SQL development and query optimisation</li></ul><p><strong>Cloud</strong></p><ul><li>Strong practical <strong>Microsoft Azure</strong> experience</li><li>Understanding of cloud-based application architecture</li><li>Azure application deployment and services</li><li><strong>AZ-900 certification</strong> would be advantageous</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Experience</strong></p><p>The successful candidate should have:</p><ul><li>Strong commercial experience as a <strong>Full Stack Developer</strong>.</li><li>Strong <strong>C# / .NET / .NET Core</strong> development experience.</li><li>Proven frontend development experience, ideally with <strong>Angular</strong>.</li><li>Practical <strong>Azure</strong> experience.</li><li>Strong SQL Server experience.</li><li>Experience developing and integrating APIs.</li><li>Strong problem-solving
