Our client is looking for an experienced Expert Full Stack Developer to join their Mainframe Modernisation and Cloud Migration team. You will work closely with architects, technical specialists, product owners, cloud providers, and international stakeholders to design, implement, and optimise enterprise migration solutions. Cloud Transformation: Extensive experience leading enterprise application modernisation and migrating legacy systems to cloud-native architectures. Enterprise Software Engineering: Deep expertise in Java, cloud platforms, system integration, DevOps, and enterprise application architecture.

Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Cloud Migration Leadership: Lead the migration of legacy mainframe applications to modern Java-based cloud architectures while ensuring scalability, performance, and business continuity. Technical Architecture: Design solution architectures, define migration strategies, review system designs, and recommend improvements to enterprise applications and cloud infrastructure. Project & Agile Leadership: Lead Agile feature teams, coordinate project delivery, manage priorities, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards. Software Development: Develop, review, optimise, and maintain enterprise applications while ensuring adherence to coding standards, architectural principles, and best practices. Business Analysis & Solution Design: Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyse requirements, prepare technical proposals, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions. Testing & Quality Assurance: Define testing strategies, oversee unit, integration, performance, security, and compatibility testing, and ensure successful implementation of migrated solutions. Operational Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting, incident resolution, system monitoring, and second-level support to maintain high system availability and performance. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Develop comprehensive technical documentation, migration procedures, architectural guidelines, and training materials while mentoring technical teams and supporting knowledge sharing. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve software architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and migration processes while driving innovation and operational excellence.
Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications & Experience
Relevant IT, Engineering or Business qualification. Minimum of 10 years' experience in software development and DevOps environments. Minimum of 7–10 years' experience working within Agile teams. Extensive experience leading enterprise software development and cloud migration initiatives. Experience with manual and/or automated testing. Experience in web and digital projects is advantageous.

Experience with international enterprise transformation programmes. Willingness to travel internationally.
