Our client is seeking a Fitter to ensure the reliability of their production machinery in their plastic manufacturing facility in KZN
Duties:
Scheduled preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance Respond to production breakdowns and restore equipment functionality Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults Inspect machinery and identify maintenance requirements Maintain and repair industrial production equipment Work on pumps, bearings, gearboxes, conveyors and associated machinery Assist with machinery installations and commissioning Participate in planned shutdowns and maintenance projects Support production teams with mechanical fault finding Identify recurring equipment failures and assist with root-cause investigations
Minimum Requirements:
Matric Fitter Trade Test 3 - 5 Years experience a plastic manufacturing facility Strong mechanical maintenance and breakdown experience Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to interpret engineering and mechanical drawings Experience working with rotating equipment and production machinery Analytical and problem-solving skills
