Financial Manager - Contract

Duties & Responsibilities We're looking for an experienced Financial Manager to join a dynamic business on a 3-month contract, providing immediate support to a busy finance function. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys solving complex financial challenges, leading teams, and delivering meaningful business insights from day one.You'll play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the business through accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and strategic financial guidance, while partnering with operational leaders to support business performance.What you'll be doing:

Lead the day-to-day finance function and support the finance teamPrepare and review monthly management accounts, forecasts, and financial reportsManage budgeting, cash flow, financial controls, and cost managementOversee balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, tax submissions, and statutory complianceSupport internal and external audits while ensuring financial processes remain robust and compliantProvide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decision-making What we're looking for:

BCom Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldProfessional qualification (CIMA, CPA, or similar) will be advantageousMinimum of 3 years' experience in a Financial Manager roleStrong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and accounting principlesExperience with Sage, ACCPAC, and IDU will be highly advantageousExcellent analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsExperience within a services or facilities management environment will be beneficial What's in it for you?
