A BCom degree or similar is required this is a BEE position for a candidate who understands stock / inventory. You must be an individual who has done the full function bookkeeping if you were in a bookkeeping role or serving articles SAIPA or SAICA with post articles experience. You cannot have only does one or two aspects of the financial accounting / senior bookkeeping role. It is important you know how to do the functions listed below.
Flash report, Base report, Finalizing of month-end Payroll, Signing off and assisting with bank reconciliation, Maintenance of asset registers – rental assets, Maintenance of asset registers – fixed assets, Stock take & stock variance sheet for the Regional Financial Manager, GL recons (entire balance sheet), EFT payments – cashbook EFT payments, creditors Statutory returns – VAT, Budgets, Forecast, Year-end and audit packs, Assisting General Managers / Branches, Internal audits.
