Introduction Our client, a petroleum storage and terminal development company, is looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their growing team based in Saldana Bay, Cape Town. This is forecasted to be a 30 month project-based contract.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is strongly preferred. Minimum 8–12 years’ finance experience, with at least 5 years in project finance, construction finance, cost control, or capital projects. Experience on EPC, oil and gas, petrochemical, tank farm, terminal, infrastructure, energy, or major industrial projects is highly advantageous. Ability to interpret EPC contracts, payment milestones, commercial schedules, change orders, securities, and financial risk provisions. Strong understanding of project budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, cost reporting, commitments, accruals, variations, and financial close-out. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP, project controls, or cost management systems is preferred.
