Duties & Responsibilities Finance Manager: Fixed Assets & Financial Reporting - 8 months contractWe are looking for a Financial Manager with extensive experience in Fixed Assets & Financial Reporting.Fixed Asset Management: Lead the end‑to‑end accounting and governance of the fixed asset register in line with IFRS and company policiesEnsure accurate capitalisation, depreciation, impairment, revaluation, and disposal of assetsOversee asset verification processes, including physical asset counts and reconciliationsPartner with Operations, Procurement, and Projects to ensure appropriate treatment of capital expenditureMonitor capital spend against budgets and provide variance explanationsDrive continuous improvement in asset accounting processes and controlsTo provide strategic and operational leadership over the organisation’s fixed asset portfolio and financial reporting processes. Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of fixed asset disclosures in statutory accountsSupport the preparation of management reports, including capex reporting and asset performance insightsCoordinate inputs into budgets, forecasts, and long‑range financial planning related to capital assetsEnsure compliance with IFRS, tax legislation, and internal governance frameworks
Audit, Risk & Compliance:
Serve as the key contact for internal and external audits related to fixed assets and reportingEnsure strong internal controls and address audit findings and control gapsMaintain compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Stakeholder & People Management:
Act as a trusted finance partner to business stakeholders, providing guidance on asset and reporting mattersLead, coach, and develop team members to build technical capability and accountabilityCollaborate closely with other finance teams (AP, GL, Tax, FP&A) to ensure integrated financial reporting

Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (essential)CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (preferred)5–8 years’ post‑qualification experience in financial reporting and/or fixed asset managementStrong working knowledge of IFRS, particularly IAS 16 and related standardsExperience in managing audits and complex asset portfoliosProven people management and stakeholder engagement experience
