Duties & Responsibilities Our client in the petrochemical industry is seeking an Expeditor to join their team on a 1 year fixed term contract.
Purpose
The Expeditor will ensure timely, quality delivery of purchased goods and services by tracking orders, communicating with suppliers, resolving delays, and verifying shipments, to ensure materials and services arrive on time and to minimise supply disruptions and support operational continuity.
Desired Experience & Qualification Qualification required:
Diploma/Advanced certificate in Supply Chain management, Engineering, Business Administration or in a related field.
Experience required:
A minimum of 3 years of expediting experience, preference of experience in the petrochemical, energy, FMCG or manufacturing (e.g.) Engineering industry Proven experience tracking purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments. Understanding of Incoterms and shipping processes
