Expat Contract - Mineral Resource Manager

Duties & Responsibilities A Mining house based in Central Africa is looking for an experienced Mineral Resource ManagerDuties:Supply a service to the Mining Operation to ensure that the ore body is best exploited and managed in a safe manner to achieve the organisational objectives/output targetsQualifications / Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Earth Sciences, or related disciplineMaster's Degree in Economic Geology, Mineral Resource Estimation, or related field is considered an assetMinimum 10-15 years' underground mining geology experience managing multidisciplinary technical teamsExtensive experience in production geology, grade control, underground resource definition drilling, geological modelling, reconciliation, and hydrogeologyExperience in large-scale underground mining operations with significant groundwater inflowsStrong understanding of structurally complex orebodies and geological risk managementExperience with mechanized underground mining methods preferredProficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French and Swahili will be considered highly advantageous
