Introduction Our ideal candidate must be a strategic and visionary leader with a proven ability to provide executive leadership across regional and national programme delivery, portfolio management, and built environment specialist and advisory services. The role is responsible for driving programme execution, infrastructure delivery, business growth, stakeholder partnerships, and organisational performance while providing strategic built environment consulting and technical leadership to achieve to organisation's mandate and long-term objectives Duties & Responsibilities Business development and operations improvement.Built environment consulting and specialist services.Infrastructure planning and procurement oversight.Provide strategic guidance in the social and community empowerment and engagement.Sector insights and business intelligence.Social infrastructure strategy and implementation.Alignment with sector and national legislative imperatives.Provide strategic oversight and reporting in relation to programs delivery: - National programs; - Portfolio management; - Regional programs delivery support and monitoring; - Community Empowerment and engagement; and - Monitoring and development.Unit performance management.Strategic leadership.Financial management and governance. Desired Experience & Qualification · Post Graduate Studies in Leadership or equivalent qualification· Minimum of a Post Graduate Degree in the Built Environment and a qualification in management and/or development studies· A qualification in Project Management and professional registration.· A minimum of 10 years’ management experience within the built environment, 5 of which must have been at a senior management level.· Exposure to the government infrastructure delivery programmes and projects – social infrastructure delivery as per the mandate of the IDT.· Extensive experience in Programme Management, Planning and Strategy.· Track record in project management and reporting.Competencies· General and Strategic Management.· Programme Management.· Financial Management.· Budget Management and Cost Control.· Monitoring and Evaluation.· Business Planning.· Project Management.· Infrastructure Procurement.· Construction related monitoring and evaluation.
