Role Overview & Candidate Requriements A well-established engineering business specialising in pump solutions for the petrochemical, mining, and water treatment sectors is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team on a fixed-term contract.
Location: Briardene (Queen Nandi Drive area) Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract Salary (no benefits) + stand-by allowance
This role involves working across various sites, including water treatment plants, pump stations, and wastewater facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on pump systems and related equipment.
Minimum Requirements:
Trade Tested Electrician Minimum 5 years’ post-trade experience Experience with rotating equipment Experience in the wastewater industry (advantageous) Willingness to work on multiple external sites (Driver's License essential)
Additional Information:
Stand-by rotation: 7 days on / 7 days off (stand-by allowance applicable) Company vehicle and tools provided (vehicle for business use only) Candidates must be able to travel to and from the Briardene office
