Role DescriptionThis is a contract-based position for a Cyber Security Analyst, located on-site in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing cybersecurity measures to protect digital assets and systems. Daily tasks include conducting application and network security assessments, analyzing potential malware threats, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute cybersecurity solutions, ensuring the safety of digital infrastructures. Qualifications<ul><li>Strong proficiency in Application Security and Network Security</li><li>Review of service provider technical controls (SOC reports, penetration testing summaries, security architecture).</li><li>Primary Board interface, governance assessment, policy drafting, report delivery</li><li>Demonstrated expertise in Cybersecurity and Malware Analysis</li><li>Excellent Analytical Skills for investigating and identifying threats</li><li>Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging security trends</li><li>Holds CISM / CRISC / Certified in Risk &amp; Information Systems Control.</li><li>Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are beneficial</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field</li><li>Experience in threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and risk management</li></ul>
