About the Company: ConsultANZ is looking for a Contracts Manager for a top civil construction company working on one of Australia’s largest infrastructure programs in Queensland. The role is focused on managing contracts and commercial matters for major road, pavement, and asphalt projects across regional areas.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage contracts and commercial aspects of projects worth $5bn. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Ensure contracts meet legal, safety, and company standards. Handle variations, claims, and disputes. Track project costs and financial performance. Support project teams with contract advice. Report risks and opportunities to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar. 10+ years of contract management experience in civil construction or infrastructure. Strong knowledge of road, pavement, and asphalt contracts. Skilled in budgets, claims, and compliance. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Willing to live and work in regional area.
