Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their KwaZulu-Natal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned construction professional to oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to successful completion while driving operational excellence, financial performance, and strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic, operational, and financial oversight of multiple construction projects Lead, mentor, and develop Site Management teams Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards Oversee project planning, costing, programming, and resource allocation Monitor contract performance and manage project risks Ensure compliance with SHEQ policies, statutory regulations, and contractual obligations Prepare monthly management reports and project progress updates Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers Attend internal and external project meetings and provide strategic input

Requirements:

BSc in Building Science, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related qualification Registered as a Professional Construction Manager (Pr.CM) or Professional Construction Project Manager (Pr.CPM) with SACPCMP Minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior management role on major construction projects Strong knowledge of project management systems and construction methodologies Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
