Our client, a well-established player within the building construction sector, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their Gauteng team. This role requires a seasoned construction professional with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage multiple sites while ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage multiple construction sites simultaneously Ensure projects are completed within budget, programme, and quality standards Manage contractual and commercial aspects of projects Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors and stakeholders Monitor construction programming, cost reporting, and project performance Ensure compliance with HSE and quality management standards Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project reporting Manage project risks, claims, and dispute resolution processes
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Building or Civil Engineering SACPCMP Professional Registration as a Construction Manager (Mandatory) Minimum 10 years post-registration experience Extensive construction industry experience on building projects Proven ability to manage between 1–3 sites concurrently Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence Willingness to travel extensively between project sites
