Introduction A leading construction company in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contract negotiation, administration, claims management and commercial risk across major projects. This is a senior, strategic role suited to a professional with strong contract law and construction industry expertise.

Draft, review and negotiate JBCC, NEC, FIDIC and GCC contract agreements. Manage the full contract lifecycle from award to close-out. Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements. Oversee variations, claims, extensions of time and dispute resolution processes. Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors and legal advisors. Maintain contract documentation, registers and risk logs. Prepare commercial reports and advise senior management on contract status.
Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements
7+ years’ experience in contract management within construction. Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Law or Commercial Management. In-depth understanding of standard contract forms (JBCC/NEC/FIDIC/GCC). Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and contract administration capabilities.
Package & Remuneration Package & Remuneration
R650 000 – R900 000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
