Contracts Manager - Mining & Industrial Services (Kathu)

Introduction A leading organisation within the mining and industrial sector is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of key customer accounts, contract performance, and aftermarket support activities. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional with experience managing mining clients, service agreements, and customer-focused solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring contractual commitments are delivered, and identifying opportunities to improve service levels and grow commercial partnerships.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with mining customers and key stakeholders. Serve as the main point of contact for customer queries, operational requirements, and support needs. Conduct regular customer site visits to gain insight into operational challenges and identify opportunities for additional support. Manage service, maintenance, and supply agreements across assigned customer accounts. Monitor contract performance, ensuring deliverables, service levels, and contractual obligations are achieved. Work closely with internal warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure customer requirements are managed effectively. Provide accurate updates regarding stock availability, lead times, and delivery expectations.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Technical qualification (Mechanical/ Millwright) Minimum 5 years’ experience in a customer-facing technical role within the mining industry. Previous experience within an OEM, mining equipment supplier, engineering services environment, or similar technical organisation. Proven experience managing mining customer accounts, service contracts, or aftermarket support activities.

Package & Remuneration R500 000 CTC to R600 000 CTC per annum
