Introduction Our client is a a leading OEM supplying equipment and aftermarket solutions to the mining industry. They are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional who enjoys building customer relationships, managing service contracts, and supporting mining operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with mining customers. Manage service, maintenance, and aftermarket support contracts. Prepare quotations and follow up on customer enquiries. Coordinate spare parts availability and urgent breakdown requirements with the warehouse. Provide first-line technical support and assist customers in identifying the correct equipment and spare parts. Work closely with engineering and technical teams to resolve customer issues. Identify opportunities to grow aftermarket sales and contract renewals. Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Millwright, Fitter, or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer-facing technical role within the mining industry. Experience with an OEM, mining equipment supplier, or engineering service provider. Strong knowledge of aftermarket support, service contracts, and spare parts. Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to mining sites.
Package & Remuneration R500 000 CTC - R600 000 CTC (Negotiable depending on experience)
