Duties & Responsibilities Project Initiation
Ensure a thorough understanding of contract agreements for all assigned projects Review and provide input on tender compilations and contractual submissions
Planning the Contract
Develop detailed construction execution plans (safety, QA, contract admin, subcontractors) Lead re-tender processes with project teams Implement procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiencies
Programming the Contract
Develop and maintain construction programmes Integrate subcontractor and specialist trade programmes Monitor progress and implement corrective actions
Contract Execution
Oversee full contract delivery across multiple projects Ensure timely procurement of resources and services Approve and monitor safety, QA, and environmental plans Administer contracts in line with legal and company requirements Manage subcontractor performance and compliance Report on financials, progress, and project close-out Ensure profitability and successful project delivery
Human Resources & Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop project teams Manage staff productivity and performance Oversee industrial relations and workforce development
Desired Experience & Qualification
MINIMUM Matric / Grade 12 MINIMUM BSc / BTech in Construction or related field MINIMUM SACPCMP registration MINIMUM 5 years’ experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial building projects Strong experience in contract administration, tendering, financial reporting, and subcontractor management Advanced proficiency in MS Office, CCS, and BuildSmart Valid driver’s license No criminal record
