Duties & Responsibilities Strategic Contract Management
Oversee all project contracts and subcontract agreements. Ensure contractual compliance with client requirements and project specifications. Lead negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Commercial Management
Monitor project budgets, claims, and financial performance. Review variation orders and contract amendments. Provide strategic advice on commercial risks and opportunities.
Risk Management
Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with project governance and regulatory frameworks.
Stakeholder Management
Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors. Represent the company in high-level contractual negotiations.
Leadership
Provide leadership to Contracts Managers and commercial teams. Ensure alignment between commercial strategy and project delivery.
Desired Experience & Qualification Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in construction management / engineering / quantity surveying Professional registration with ECSA and SACPCMP (essential)
Experience
Minimum 15+ years construction industry experience Minimum 10 years in contract management Experience with FIDIC / COTO contracts
